Objective:
* To educate participants about the principles and benefits of integrated farming systems, enabling them to understand the importance of sustainable agricultural practices and their role in ensuring food security and environmental stewardship.
* To provide participants with practical skills and knowledge through hands-on activities and field visits, enabling them to effectively implement integrated farming systems and make informed decisions regarding crop diversification, livestock management, and resource optimization for improved agricultural productivity and sustainability.
Pre Event Description :
The Five Days Vocational Training Programme on "Integrated Farming System for Sustainable Agriculture," organized under the auspices of NAHEP-IDP, aims to equip participants with the knowledge and skills required to implement integrated farming systems for sustainable agricultural practices. This comprehensive training program offers a diverse range of sessions, workshops, and practical demonstrations, covering topics such as organic farming, agroforestry, crop rotation, livestock management, and resource conservation.
